Southern Belle T-Shirts

If you’re even remotely a Southern belle, then you HAVE to check out this site: Southern Belle Store!  The shirts are just too cute with the various sayings and quotes.  Aside from t-shirts, there’s also hoodies, lounge pants, shorts, towels, flip-flips (aka thongs) and totes bags.  The cute whimsical designs are very eye catching, and even makes some of the dullest colors look lively!  And the best part – There’s free shipping on all orders too!  Hello!  You cannot beat free shipping!

Long ago I saw a shirt that said, “Southern girls don’t drink, they sip.”  I’ve yet to see the shirt again, and I have no idea if the few girls wearing it had them custom made.  Unfortunately, this site doesn’t have it either, but that doesn’t mean my e-mail might not prompt a new shirt from them (Hey, I can dream!).  I’m super excited about this awesome find and I’m definitely going to be placing an order soon!

Ah! Retail therapy!

Such a blessing in disguise really… Okay, blatant actually LOL!

For those who didn’t know, which is probably just about everyone out there, I recently quit smoking.  I’ve been “clean” for a little over a week now, and I think for once in my life it’s going to stick.  I’ve tried IDK how many times in the past, and it never once did I stick to it… So pray for me it sticks this time!

ANYWHO!  As a celebration of my efforts, I took a retail therapy trip to Bath & Body Works LOL!  I got myself Night-Blooming Jasmine Body Splash & Body Cream, White Tea & Ginger Body Splash & Body Cream, foot file, Passionfruit & Guava Wallflower & refills… And all for $25.92 with tax!  Gotta love the semi-annual sale combined with coupons!  Retail, everything was about $81 with tax, but I saved like $55!  SWEET!  Debating on another order before the week is out and the sale is over… I really shouldn’t though LOL!

And then I went to dinner and drinks with a friend.  It totally wasn’t in the plan when we went to B&BW, but it’s nice that I went.  I actually enjoyed myself.  The food was good, and the margarita was PERFECT!  Just what the doctor ordered… Okay, that was self-prescribed LMAO!  So, yeah… Retail therapy is G-O-O-D!  LOL!

Rave of the Day: Mad City Sue B&B Products!

Yeah, I know my weekend promise didn’t uphold!  It was kinda dreadful out over the weekend, so I didn’t have any good lighting for pics.  SUCKS!  ANYWHO!

Thanks to Makeup Alley and a good friend, I discovered the world of eTailers a little over a year ago.  I’ve really only ordered from two, but I’ve been a long-standing customer with Mad City Sue since I switched to her back in January 2008 (if not sooner).  The eTailer I was using shall remain nameless, but I can say her CS suddenly took a nice downhill turn on me, and I never once looked back.  After being loyal to her and placing a few orders, “nameless eTailer” just quit responding to me… I sent 2-3 e-mails asking about a product or scent I was interested in but hadn’t tried, and NADA!

NOW!  I can definitely say Sue is the BEST at responding to my messages!  She’s a true pleasure, and has given me nothing but absolutely perfect customer service from day one.  Everything ships super fast and arrives in perfect condition.  Sue has always given an absolutely honest opinion on whether or not scents will work well together, or if something needs to be alcohol or oil based for a roll-on perfume.  I haven’t yet tried a product I didn’t like, and totally prefer Sue’s products to a lot of popular retailers (i.e. B&BW).

My favorite products from Mad City Sue are the Whipped Sugar Body Scrubs and Soy Creme Body Butters.  I do love her Dry Oil Body Sprays as well, which are excellent on fly-away hairs!  The scrubs aren’t overly harsh, and give a nice gentle exfoliation… My skin is always extremely silky soft after just using the scrub.  If I didn’t have such dry skin, I probably wouldn’t even need the Soy Creme Body Butter… But I’d still buy them because they rock LOL!

And the scent list Sue has… A-MA-ZING!  Some of her scents are just too good to be true, and I tell you, I drool almost everytime I look at the list.  All round, Mad City Sue is just the best IMHO!  Wonderful CS, awesome products, a scent list that just doesn’t quit, and very affordable prices!  Don’t even hesitate to order from Sue… JUST DO IT!  You don’t even have to tell her I sent you, you just need to order LOL!
