Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

The first time I picked this up I wasn’t too thrilled with it and returned it after one use. I’m not sure what made me think to give it another try, but I’m glad I did! The coverage is just perfect, and I think it’s the best foundation shade match I’ve had in a LONG time! I’m not a fan of Revlon Colorstay, and it doesn’t help I can’t get a proper shade match, but this makes me love all things Revlon now! While it doesn’t completely cover my acne scars, I’m not someone who tries very hard to conceal them anyway (and they’re not THAT bad). I apply two layers with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, apply some Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder, and I’m good to go! Definitely give it a try, and make sure you go one shade lighter than you’d normally wear because Revlon Nearly Naked seems to run dark (for reference, I’m MAC NC40 and wear this in 180 Medium Beige).
Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder

Since I mentioned it, and I have falled in love for it, I do need to mention Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder. I know it’s been around for quite some time now, but I was content using my MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder. I went to Sephora around my birthday, and decided to just use my 100 point perk to get this with the samples of the new Tarte BB tinted treatment 12-hour primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen. Let’s just say the little jar has been amazing, and I definitely plan to buy a full-size whenever I run out. A little goes a long way, and I don’t at all look powdery! My makeup lasts all day and I don’t even have to blot or touch-up. Loves it!
Maybelline The Rocket Mascara

Same as with the Revlon Nearly Naked, the first time I purchased Maybelline The Rocket Mascara I returned it. I was loving Cover Girl Clump Crusher, but it wasn’t out in a waterproof version yet and all I wear is waterproof. Melissa (better know as Melmphs on YouTube) posted a video of this mascara saying how it’s a better version of Clump Crusher, so I figured I would give it another go. And now I’m in love with it! It truly is everything I’m looking for in a mascara – lengthens, volumizes and separates! And it’s not as wet as most Maybelline formulas, nor does it weigh my lashes down like Clump Crusher. This might be HG material up there with Cover Girl Professional All-in-One!
Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick

Clinique had them first. Then Revlon had them. Clinique even released a few “intense” colors, and then Cover Girl released some. Guess what? Now so does Neutrogena! And out of them all, I think I prefer the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick! I really wasn’t going to be bothered with these… And then I saw Emily’s video on YouTube where she mentioned how good they were. Seeing as how they were on sale at CVS, and I had a coupon, I gave it a go by purchasing Rich Raisin. Loves it! My lips feel super soft while I’m wearing the MoistureSmooth, and they don’t feel overly dry after it’s worn off. While I do wish the color lasted a bit longer or had more of a staining effect, I’m more than happy with them and even purchased a second one in Fresh Papaya. I do believe I’ll get at least one or two more
Aveda Hand Relief

Somehow I happened across a travel size of this, and I’m glad I did! This stuff is amazing and smells divine! I use it at night before I go to bed, and my hands feel sooooo soft! As much as I love this, I’m still not sure if I’ll purchase it on my own. The price tag on this is pretty steep in my opinion, as a full-size 4.2 fl oz/125 ml tube will set you back $21.00 (1.4 fl oz/40 ml travel size is $8.50). If anyone knows of a reputable place to get Aveda at a lower price, please do let me know! I’d love to keep some Aveda Hand Relief around for regular daily use!
