And so the routine has already been tweaked! Needless to say, my sunscreen had me looking like a greasy mess halfway through the day and the Retin-A is drying out the wrong part of my face! So, I’ve modified my routine (for now) to the following:

Morning Routine
1. Water wash
2. Apply Reviva Labs Firming Eye Serum with Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester & DMAE (Forgot to mention this before)
3. Lightly pat on homemade Vitamin C serum
4. Apply L’Oreal Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen SPF 50+ Liquid Silk Sunshield For Face
5. Apply facial primer followed by makeup as normal

Evening Routine
1. Pre-cleanse with Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil
2. Cleanse with Simple Facial Cleanser & Facial Brush
3. Apply vitamin E stick on eye area
4. Apply Nadinola in thin layer on entire face OR mix & apply pea-size amounts of Retin-A and Nadinola (I alternate nights)

If I have a night where I’m feeling especially dry, I’ll use almond or coconut oil as moisturizer instead of the other treatments. I have seen a slight improvement, but I know it’s going to take more than about two weeks for a significant difference. I may eventually switch up and start using Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector since I’ve heard a lot of good things about it recently, and it’s been recommended to me by more than a few people.

  1. Great regimen but I personally won’t use coconut oil for my face as it clogged my pores.

  2. Oh no! I don’t use it on my face a lot – mostly I use it for my hair. Luckily, I haven’t had any oils bother my face *fingers crossed*
