Since I seem to lack posting for “Mani Monday,” I figure maybe I can start posting “Makeup of the Week” on Mondays. Most likely, I’ll alternate or include a mani in the post. We’ll see how well this goes!
So, for this week I’ve decided on the following makeup to wear everyday this week:
FACE:
Revlon Colorstay in 360 Golden Caramel (Combination/Oily Skin formula)
Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Mattifying Face Powder
NARS Zen Blush w/ Milani Luminoso Baked Blush
Maybelline Define-A-Brow in Dark Brown
EYES:
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Damsel
L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Tender Caramel
Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara in Very Black
The L’Oreal eyeshadow has a lot more “chunk” to it than my other ones, so it’s possible I may change it out to Milani French Vanilla Powder Eyeshadow. And lately I seem to prefer a very thin, barely noticeable line if I use liner, so I may also change the eyeliner to either a liquid or just use a black eyeshadow to pushline.
(I have a feeling the NARS blush, which I received in a swap many moons ago, may be a fake. However, it has good color payoff and it’s long-lasting, so I don’t mind much if it is!)

I have the Physician’s Formula Youthful Wear Powder and I really like it- the powder is very smooth and gives my skin an almost “soft-focus” finish- I already bought a back up! I also love L’oreal Infallible eyeshadows – they are beautiful and extremely pigmented!
