Honestly, I’m just your average chick – only I’m addicted to nail polish (you can see my stash here)! I’m originally from Seattle, but moved to NY in September 2005 as my husband is from here. I can’t say I enjoy the winters, but there are some positives about living here. Like the fact that I can be within 5-6 states, and Canada, within about 6 hours.
Anywho! I’m married with two lovely daughters, and I work at a local hospital’s maternity campus. I love cooking! I’m always up for trying something new, or improved! I’m also into reading books by Emily Giffin and James Patterson. I enjoy reading blogs on nail polish, and one of my favorite online “hang outs” is the Makeup Alley Nail Board. I guess that about sums it up! See ya around!
Yours truly,
Aquilah

Hey! I saw one of your postings on another website and saw that you’re in the Capital District in NY. I just moved here and I’m having a hard time finding a hair salon that does relaxers. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Stephanie.
Hey Stephanie! I sent you an e-mail as well, but I get my hair done at Joli Salon in Rotterdam Square Mall. The only other place I know of which does ethnic hair (assuming yours is) is JC Penney in Crossgates Mall. I use Affirm relaxers, and pay $65 for the relaxer, blowdry, and flat-iron; my hair goes about halfway down my back.
