Originally I started my sale to get rid of polishes since I thought my obsession was up, but apparently it’s not LOL!  So, I’m getting rid of colors I know I’ll either never wear, or I just don’t particular feel love for anymore.  If you want pictures of anything, just let me know and I’ll take them.

I prefer a minimum order of $10.00, and please feel free to make reasonable offers. I may also list other colors, and possibly even some miscellaneous cosmetics. Pictures can be taken of all items by request.

Shipping is $2.50 for the first bottle and $0.50 for each additional polish, up to a maximum of $5 unless you buy more than I can fit into a flat-rate box (which can fit anywhere from 6-8 polishes). Currently, I am only shipping within the USA.

I accept PayPal only, and payment needs to be made within 48 hours of being invoiced. Items will only be held for 24 hours before I move on to the next request. For a quicker response, please message me using the contact form here.

So, I recently dipped my toes back into the pool of Nail Polish Madness and bought a few new polishes.  I bought Confetti Moonstruck thinking it looks a lot like ChG Channelesque.  I had also bought Petites Color Fever in Periwinkle, and it looks a bit like Maybelline Hip Huggers.  And, Petites Vintage Gray looks quite a bit like Color Club High Society.  Let’s compare them, shall we?

Okay, in the bottle, they look almost identical.  However, when applied Confetti pulls more brown than Channelesque, and you need at least two thick coats or maybe four thin coats to equal Channelesque.  However, I’d recommend it as a close dupe.

Petites Periwinkle vs Maybelline Hip Huggers

Maybelline Hip Huggers tends to have a bit more blue to it and is darker.  I think if you added a smidgen of dark blue to Periwinkle, you’d have a good dupe!

Petites Vintage Gray vs Color Club High Society

Color Club High Society has more of a brown/taupe look to it, where as Petites Vintage Gray is definitely grey.  Not the best of dupes… And I tested Petites against CC Who Are You Wearing, and it’s darker.

Granted, they’re not the best pictures, but I have no idea where I put my lightbox!  I might just have to make a new one…

Well what have we here?  Two NOTDs?  Yep!  I went big LOL!  I didn’t get to post yesterday’s mani since I literally did it was I was walking to the door, and then I was busy last night getting me laptop back (yay.  So, you get a two for one today!

04/22/2010 – Sally Hansen Magicals in Copper Cauldron - You know how I love my holos!  Fast drying and nearly a one-coater, Copper Cauldron is a gorgeous color.  To me it’s more peach or coral than copper, but it’s gorgeous either way!  There’s only a few from this collection I haven’t gotten since I already have holos in those colors, but I’m going to crack soon enough and get them too.

04/23/2010 – China Glaze Blk-Bila-Bong – This has been a longtime lemming of mine, which was finally fulfilled in a swap.  It’s a gorgeous blackened blue, and it’s just become a real favorite for me.  It’s just too pretty, and application was as smooth as can be.  I was worried Maybelline Blackened Teal would be a dupe since I have that coming too, but it looks like the blue is more prominent and it’s more of a frost than shimmer.  I get it today, so maybe I’ll do a comparison since I already have this on. (Please excuse the slight pre-cleanup mess!)

I’ve decided to start doing a daily post for my NOTDs instead of putting them in the sidebar for you to click in order to view. Makes it easier for you, right?

I originally started with OPI And This Little Piggy, but it’s a color you layer over a creme or something… I used 3 coats and still had VNL. So, this morning I decided to just add ChG Strawberry Fields over it. I don’t think the previous polish affects the color either since I had used this on my toes last night (yes, I’m matching for once LOL), and it looks the exact same.

This makes for a great summer fun color. It’s a nice vibrant pink with golden shimmer to it. It’s almost a one coater, but I did two. I shouldn’t have waited until it started warming up to use this. It’s such a happy color! Perfect for dreary winter days for a pick me up

I’ll have to do reviews soon.  I have on Fairy Dust now over Essie Jackie Oh My, and me like!  Though I do like it, I immediately wanted to change it!  I have no idea why, so don’t ask me LOL!  I’m also wearing ChG Coral Star on my toesies, and I LUV it!  Gorgeous color, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for every skintone.

I can say the FPs are pretty sheer, and seem like they’ll be 3-4 coaters.  Not exactly fun stuff, but we’ll make it work!  And of course, the long awaited (for me) Cashmere Cardigan is just too fab!  I think that’s the mani I’ll wear for Tuesday… I need to get a dotting tool so I can do some polka dots!

I’m one happy woman to an extent tonight!  My large nail polish swap made its way into my home today, and I just swatched 10 of the 18 colors LOL!  I’m VERY happy with my polish choices!  You can go to Nailgal to see pics of them all, or I’m sure Scrangie and/or All Lacquered Up for pics too.  I’ll try to take my own pics something this weekend

I can say I’m VERY happy with all of the colors!  As soon as my Saturday interview with Macy’s is over, I’m definitely doing a bold mani!  I’m not too sure what I’ll use yet, but I’ll be sure to post pics if I can

I recently saw a post on MUA asking if there was a difference between Zoya Harley and OPI “Sheer” Your Toys.  IMHO, there is a difference.  Zoya Harley is lighter both in the bottle and applied.  Also, on my skin tone (MAC NC40), Zoya Harley has more of a lilac tint while OPI Sheer Your Toys (SYT) has a blueish tint.  I’ve included pics, even if they’re not the best… I also added in Sephora by OPI Run With It to the comparison

 

 

And because I was curious on the difference between MAC On The Prowl (OTP) and China Glaze Recycle, here’s a comparison between them with a dash of OPI You Don’t Know Jacques (YDKJ):
